Birthday Box!

My son was invited to a birthday party tonight.  Since I never know what to buy for a present everyone likes $, I like to try to come up with interesting ways to give the gift.  I used to just try a card, but my kids said, "forget the card, I'll just give them the $".  GASP!  What?!!!  "REALLY, mom.  I'll just give it to them.  They will be happy."  Reluctantly, and still sad about not being able to make something, I would hand it over...  Since then, I have given money in several different ways.  Not that the ways are always exciting, but it's fun for me.  Of course my kids still would rather just hand over the $, but I keep trying.  So, I made this box last night.  It's a very simple design, but my kids just don't like the fuss of a lot of extra embellishments.  I would love it if they let me go all out, but I try to be satisfied that they let me do this much ;-)  I just added some paper shred (and the $) inside.
