Birthday Gifts for Children at Church!

I help in the Primary organization at church which is comprised of children ages 3-11.  Every year we like to give birthday gifts that will remind the children of the theme for the year.  In 2011 the theme is "I Know the Scriptures are True".  One of the ideas we are using to go with that theme is "Read Every Day" (abbreviated RED).  Our Primary President (talented craft and cake woman-see cub scout cakes below!!) had the awesome idea to put this on pillowcases for the birthday presents this year!  She asked me to design the pillowcases.  It was fun and a little stressful.  I had only tried working with the heat transfer vinyl once before and I didn't really know what I was doing so it didn't go as well as I was hoping.  This time I did a little research and it went great!  It worked perfectly!  We wanted to keep the design fairly small to save on the cost of supplies since we will be making 20-30 of these through the year.
